Is it currently possible for private customers to drop off their waste?
At the moment, we are open without any restrictions.

Is it possible to dispose of a climbing frame made from pressure-treated coniferous wood?
Yes, but the wood waste has to be cut to 1m lengths.

Is it possible to dispose of painted shop shelves? What would be the price for this?
If these shelves are made from wood, they can be dropped off here. The prices depend on the offloaded weight, which will be determined when driving onto and off the premises (vehicle will be weighed).

How much does it cost to dispose of WPC balcony boards?
Provided that all the waste is from a private household, you only ever pay for the offloaded weight of any waste that AVA Velsen GmbH can process.

Disposal of laminate flooring, doors, and door frames.
The aforementioned waste is suitable for thermal disposal at our plant. In this case, the price is also determined by the weight determined by the difference of the vehicle weight when driving onto and off the premises, respectively.

Disposal of wood waste with protective wood finish and/or varnish.
Wood waste that has been treated with protective wood finish can also be disposed of here in our plant. However, bear in mind the edge lengths of the pieces of wood must not exceed 1m!

What are the requirements for the disposal of fuel tanks?
The tanks must be:

• completely cleaned of oil residues (risk of fire due to spontaneous combustion)
• cut up into 1m pieces (e.g. break up a 1,500l tank into four pieces)

Do tanks categorically have to be cut to size?
As waste is fed into the hopper in the waste bunker, it is imperative that oil tanks are cut up. As a rule of thumb: any bulky waste should be delivered in approx. 1m² pieces.

Can construction waste (such as gypsum and straw) be disposed of at the plant?
Yes, the disposal of construction waste is permitted in normal household quantities.

Can glass wool be disposed of at the plant?
Mineral fibre wool is classed as hazardous waste and cannot be accepted at our plant!

Is it possible to pay by card?
We accept payments by cash or card.

What about the disposal of bulky waste?
If it is waste from private households, i.e. it must not be a commercial household clearance, you can dispose of bulky waste at our facility. These do not have to be pre-sorted, only the unloading time of 10 minutes must not be exceeded.

How does the disposal work in this case?
In order to dispose of commercial waste, you need a disposal certificate (Entsorgungsnachweis). This can be requested from us. It then has to be filled in and sent to the Entsorgungsverband Saar (EVS). You will then receive the proof with a certified UN number, which you must present to our weighbridge with every delivery. Billing is done via the payment option that you have specified.

Do you have to book a slot to drop off waste?
No, during our opening hours there is no need to book for small deliveries.

Can you provide waste containers?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer to provide a container, because we as plant operators can only process waste that has been delivered.
